Wall pocket planter was made by LF Ceramics, a company located in Hollywood, California.
The wall pocket was made in the mold to look like an old wind up alarm clock. The numbers on the "dial" and the hands were painted in a green glaze. The raised swirls decorating the face were hand glazed in purple. The "bell" on top with it's "silence button" were hand glazed in purple, also. On one side of the wall pocket, a pair of purple flowers with their green leaves and stems were hand glazed on. On the other side is a single purple flower with it's green leaves and stem.
The wall pocket has two openings on top, on each side of the "bell", to allow you to place a plant inside each opening or use it with live flowers as a vase.
The back of the wall pocket has a round opening for ease of hanging. It also has a flat base so it can be stood on a shelf or windowsill.
The back of the wall pocket also is marked in the mold with the words "L F Ceramics" and "Hollywood".
This wall pocket measures 2 1/4" wide, 4" long and stands 5 1/2" high.
This wall pocket planter is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is no crazing in the glaze and no loss to any of the colors or glazes used.
